When you are hit with a spell, the effects may be a little different each time, depending on the spell, and your skill level. For instance, if you are hit with a paralyze spell, you may resist the spell by shortening the length of time you are paralyzed. Or if you are hit with a lightning strike the amount of damage may lessened. Once again this is not a skill you can choose to use, but is checked automatically when you attacked with a spell. Resisting spells will not raise intelligence, strength or dexterity. Common Complimentary Skills: Magery - Use Reagents and Spellbook to cast spells. |
